Grace Wissemann 2...Personal Statement
Soccer is my passion and has been since I can remember, however, I am also very interested in physics. I enjoy taking leadership roles and excel at decision-making and innovation. I plan on going to an academically challenging school where I can push myself to succeed in difficult classes and to learn all that I can from the program.
Astrophysics has interested me for years and is what I plan to major in. I am fascinated by the creation of the universe and its inner workings and intend to learn as much as I can in order to make advancements in the realms of astrophysics and cosmology. I plan on taking on a minor in aerospace engineering as well; I am interested in the puzzles that human space flight has presented in recent years.
Soccer has been my life since I discovered the game, and is one of the two driving forces in my life. I love playing and wish to continue to do so for as long as I can. I am always looking for ways to improve as a player, and I practice consistently with and without others to become the best possible player that I can be.
