Hii!!! My name is Raelyn Alexander. I am 16 years old in the 11th grade. When I was little, around the age of 5, I was doing Gymnastics. I did gymnastics for a while then I started playing soccer, to see if I would like it. Turns out, I loved it. Gymnastics practice and soccer practice started to be on the same days. My parents then told me I had to choose between the two, and I chose soccer. It felt like soccer was a natural talent of mine. Soccer has taught me to be a team player and that losing a game shouldn't make you put yourself down or think negatively. It encourages you to do better and to figure out what can help you and others do better next time. Soccer has helped me build character by having good sportsmanship, teaching me discipline, and communicating with my teammates and coach. Over the years of playing soccer, it has taught me leadership skills on and off the field. For example, when on the field, I encourage my teammates by saying they got this, good job and I also guide my teammates when they don't know how to do something. I have a lot of drive, passion, and determination to play soccer at the college level. I hope I'm the best pick for you.
A little bit about my experience in soccer: I played Club all throughout elementary school, played soccer during my 6th and 8th-grade years of middle school at the middle school, then took a break in 9th and 10th grade. Now, in 11th grade, I am on the Varsity Team for Terry Parker High School.
When I go to college, I want to major in Health Care and Medicine to become a Pediatrician. I want a school that has the right classes for my path in wanting to become a doctor and a good matching soccer team.
