Hello, my name is Aliya Roberts and I LOVE SOCCER! My passion runs deep since my father introduced me to the sport in 2017. I have always been an athlete and played several sports but fell in love with the game. I have several goals that I want to achieve, and going to college to play soccer is at the top of my list! While playing soccer at college I wish to earn my Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. I have been around animals my whole life and would love to be able to understand and help them when they are in need. I understand that it requires a deep dedication to schooling to attain this goal, but I am a hard worker willing to put in the time to achieve success. I consider myself a very humble, strong, compassionate, and understanding person. I'm always willing to put 120% effort into whatever I put my mind to. I am always up for a challenge and do not shy away from things that can make me stronger. I am always striving to excel in my academics, knowing that they can take me a long ways in life! My ultimate goal is to become a player on the Women's National Team. The game of soccer brings people together and is played all over the world. I hope to be a role model for younger generations when I achieve my ultimate goal.
I don't just LOVE soccer, but also love doing things like track, volleyball, art, and riding on all terrain vehicles while out in the country. I enjoy crazy adventures and having fun times with friends and family. I currently play on the 06 OCYS ECNL Girls Team, the Regional ODP team, and play for the Varsity team at my High School. I am very proud of my accomplishments so far, but know that I have a lot to learn and need to work on my weak areas. I constantly work on my ball skills and need to work on my strength for better shots on goal.
In closing, I promise to be an asset for whatever school I end up attending. I can work well with others and help those around me to become better players and a better person overall. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile and for examining my Personal Statement.
