Naomi Gonzalez '24 Recruiting Profile

Leadership, tenacity, discipline, structure, perseverance, and explosiveness; these are the words best used to describe who I am and my background. My name is Naomi Gonzalez, I am a graduate of the 2024 class. I have been raised around the world due to me being a military/ professional athlete child. My experience of being brought up and moved around the world has provided me the opportunity to flourish and adapt in many different environments and cultures. Allowing me to be flexible, coachable, and communicative with a variety of coaching styles. In addition, understanding the sacrifices athletes make day in and day out to achieve the ultimate dream of making it to a professional level.   I understand there is more to being an athlete than what is seen with a mere eye. This experience has molded me into understanding the possibilities of my future in soccer.  

I have played soccer since I was six years old. I am a well-rounded player; my current position is striker and winger; with experience as a defender and a mid-fielder. My high school team just went to regional level where I assisted the team through the season with 18 goals, 7 assists and 480 mins played as captain of the team. I also was nominated for All Dade team. I currently play with Prime FC.  I was able to hold a 3.5 gpa and placed in honors classes in addition to balancing being captain of the varsity soccer team and playing varsity softball.  My goal is to obtain a degree in Biology to become a veterinarian on all types of animals.
