My name is Raegan Young and I am a junior at Navarre High School located in the Florida panhandle. Ever since I was a young girl I have always loved and strived to be the best soccer player I can possibly be. I hope to play soccer in college to not only continue playing the sport I love, but to enjoy the camaraderie of being a part of the team and to challenge myself.
My collegiate goals and aspirations stretch beyond the classroom and the playing field. Aside from being a model student, I would like to make a positive impact to the fellow students and community around me. I consider communication one of my strong suits because I believe that I am able to understand and read people in most situations, which makes me a more effective teammate. My ability to communicate makes me a more effective teammate by being able to address my teammates, coaches, and teachers about things I feel are important.
I differ from other recruits in the following ways: I have a great sense of humor and I am able to make light of a difficult situation. I am also hard working and determined, never giving up on anything that is thrown my way. From an athletic standpoint one of my greatest strengths is my adaptability. Whether its learning a new sport or a new position I am always up for a challenge and welcome change. Academically speaking, I pride myself in being able to balance a full workload with a job, extracurricular activities and spending time with family and friends. Despite my busy schedule I am able to maintain a high GPA while taking AP and honor level courses.
