My name is Madison Erwin. I have been playing soccer since I was four years old. I have always enjoyed it but really started getting serious about it when I joined a club team at 11. I am a natural leader and I love playing the center back position, because I feel like I have a view of the entire field and can see everything that is going on. I'm a very vocal player and love to talk throughout the game to help inform and motivate my teammates.
In 2019, I went to France with a team to play in the Paris World Games, where we took first place. That trip really helped me see the competition from other countries and the different ways of play, helping me grow substantially. When I came home, I felt that my vision of play had increased, as well as my love for the game. I also attended an athletic school for the past 3 years. We would workout for 2-3 hours in the morning, and then do schoolwork the rest of the day. It helped me become more fit, introduced me to weightlifting, increased my mentality, and made me focus on my nutrition as well. I have learned to train on my own and managed to stay fit and focused throughout the year by maintaining a strict training schedule. I feel like I would be a great asset to your team as I am highly motivated and am always open for different ideas and perspectives on how to improve myself.
