EILEEN SWEENEY – PERSONAL STATEMENT
1) PASSION. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to play the game I love and I intend to continue do so at the highest level that my abilities and effort will take me, for as long as I can.
2) COACHABILITY. I know that no matter how confident I am in current abilities, I have a long way to go to reach my goals. I welcome feedback and appreciate benefiting from the experience of my coaches. I am committed to learning from my mistakes. I am very fortunate to have had great coaches.
2) MENTAL TOUGHNESS AND RESILICANCY: The military lifestyle gave me the opportunity to live in many places and meet new people often. It also meant that I had to "start-over" many times in my young life. I learned that I must prove myself over and over again. I look forward to putting that skill to use in earning a position on a great college soccer team and contributing to the success of that team.
3) TEAMWORK: I am driven to make myself and those around me better. I believe that you can best achieve your individual goals by putting the goals of the team first. I am willing to put what the team needs before what I want. My intent is to bring my talents to an organization that will win games and championships for the team.
