My exposure to various sports at a young age allowed for me to recognize what I truly wanted to play. Since then, soccer has been a crucial part of my life from playing on my first club team to continuing to play now. Looking back, I still remember the excitement that came with playing for my middle school team. During my sixth grade year, we advanced to the championships and won second place. Even though we did not win first place, I enjoyed it and will remember the experience that came from playing on my school's soccer team for the first time.
I enjoy learning new things because it teaches me something that I can use later on. I use what I have been taught to better myself and to learn from my mistakes in life and in soccer. I believe playing on close-knit soccer teams at a young age has shown me how soccer is not only a sport but also a way of life that you share with others. My goal is to find a team at a school that replicates the family feeling that I once felt when I was younger.
