Andrea Latimer '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 5'2" tall and weigh about 105 lbs. Running 40 yard dash in 5.2, I have played soccer for what seems like all my life, although it has only been 10 years. I have played select or club soccer for 6 of the 10 years. Of those 6 years, I have played on three teams, all of which I have started or been an anchor player in most of the games. It has always been my dream to go to college on a soccer scholarship and study to become a doctor or physician's assistant. I have always been one that enjoys hard work, challenges and wants to succeed to bring my team to a higher level. I would like to go to school and play anywhere in the Southeast. It has been my dream to play for a division 1 school since I was a little girl. I am open to many different types of schools, but would prefer for them to be strong academically and preferably be in Division 1. I will need to get many scholarships in order to go to a decent college. I know I want to do something in the medical field and at present feel a calling to be a pediatrician, but I may consider forensic science. I want to play soccer as a freshman and be a starter in college in addition to playing to the best of my abilities regardless of the circumstances. I want to step up and be a leader on the team and play for the glory of God.
