Hannah Fuchko '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer with friends and family my whole life. I never thought the choice to pursue the athletic life would become such an important part of my story.  Soccer has become a passion for me and has been a major part of my high school years and hopefully my college years.  

My main goal is to push myself to be better as an athlete but also as a person.  Of course I would love to get some wins along the way! I'm huge on being someone people can trust to have their back on and off the field. I have played all positions in various formations so I can be very versatile on the field. I come from a huge family so I've always understood the value of teamwork and leadership and I implement that in my playing style. I will never back down from a challenge; in fact, I welcome it!

I have gone to a private home-school hybrid school most my life that follows the college seminar format. This creative schedule has allowed me to have freedom for sports and experiences such as mission trip work, a steady job, photography, and water sports while still keeping my education solid. I enjoy school discussions and my favorite classes so far have been geometry and anatomy. I look forward to the college experience both athletically and educationally.
