Naia Boudreau '23 Recruiting Profile

Aloha! 

My name is Naia Boudreau. I am born and raised on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. I currently am a junior in high school and attend Kauai High School. I have been playing soccer and futsal since I was 8 years old.  Since then, I have gained so much love for the sport. I play for Keahi SC '04 girls soccer team, a club team in Kauai, Hawaii. Every time I step onto the field, I am programmed to improve my game. With all of the dedication I have to soccer, I realize how much I want to play at the next level. My dream goal is to play college soccer at a college or university that includes my major of Nursing. While striving to reach this goal, I plan to give 110%. 

Some of my strong characteristics are endurance and quick decision making. I love to get feedback from coaches and use it as constructive criticism to improve my play.  I enjoy making goals and  assisting goals. I completely believe in the meaning behind a team and that this is not an individual sport. In my free time, I referee youth soccer games during the club seasons. Reffing soccer has taught me the game from a different point of view. I also love helping with youth sports tournaments and other community organizations.

Academics are very important to me as well. I know the importance of staying committed  to both education and soccer.  I'm looking for a school that provides a good sports/academic balance. I am hardworking, self-motivated with good work ethic and a growth mindset.  I am capable of managing my time to accomplish my goals in all aspects of my life – school, sports, and social activities.
