Leanne Tacadena '23 Recruiting Profile

I  started playing soccer since four years old. I tried other sports such as basketball, volleyball, bowling and track and field representing my elementary and intermediate schools. I played basketball in Freshman year as a Junior Varsity Team Captain and made it to the Varsity Team to play in the championship games. None of these sports made me complete compared to the  passion I have for soccer.

Besides AYSO,I played HYSA and had the opportunity to be trained by a college coach with ODP. It is then that I yearned for more training from the best. And being a Certified and Licensed USSF Referee also helped me a better player by knowing the rules of the game. At the same time focusing on my education and keeping up my 4.0 GPA.

I believe with hard work, leadership skills, dedication, team player, positive attitude and good faith, I can accomplish many of my goals. Someday I hope to be playing collegiate soccer while majoring in civil engineering.
