Hi my name is Emilie Eckhart and I am a Junior at Capital High School in Boise, Idaho. I play Soccer and Basketball. I consider myself a student athlete because I’ve played 2 varsity sports and maintained a 3.2 to 3.4 GPA. I've lettered in both soccer and basketball and played on the Varsity Soccer Team since my Freshmen year.
Growing up with an older brother I learned from a young age how to be competitive and what it’s like not always being the strongest. This taught me the work ethic I still thrive on to this day. Not only do I have great work ethic, I also have a very positive attitude. I learned that being positive is always the better way and that being negative only leads to mistakes. Being a goalie, you have to be a leader on the field and a good communicator. I do consider myself a coachable player because I am willing to go beyond my comfort zone.
I believe that college Soccer will give me the opportunity to thrive both on the field and in the classroom. I have both the work ethic and attitude to succeed to college, so I hope you will consider me for your school and your team.
