The highlight of my high school soccer career will always be my freshman year. Even to this day, I can remember the way I felt when I scored my first goal as a freshman. The way time froze all around me, and the adrenaline rushing through my body. Feeling every single nerve in my body jolt with excitement. I was one of the only freshmen who was a starter on the varsity team. At the end of the season, I had been awarded the "Most Improved Player," which is an award that is usually only given to seniors. That season has taught me to always work hard even if no one was watching because eventually, someone would notice the effort you would put in. My next season wasn't as great, we had lost almost every game. It was extremely hard losing every game and doing everything I could to help support my team and still losing in the end. That season taught me one of the most important lessons in my life; no matter how hard things get you can't give up, you'd only be letting people down. You have to stay and fight through it no matter how much easier it would be giving up, you have to learn how to keep going.
In school, I hope to one day attend a college where I can play soccer and also major in pre-med. Of course, I would like to continue playing soccer after college but my backup plan is to become a doctor. Not only have I had a burning desire to play soccer but to also help people. It is always been who I am to be kind to people and help them no matter who they are. Ever since I could remember I have wanted to inspire people and be a leader to them, someone they can trust and always look up to. I know that with the help of my family and friends I can achieve my goal. No matter what I will always do everything to be better than I was before. I do not under any circumstances give up, it is not who I am, and I think if given the chance, I could be essential to your team.
