I have always loved to play soccer. I first started when I was 3 years old playing in a local summer league. When I was 10, I started playing for my local school team. I loved the environment and being able to improve my skills on a higher level than what I was used to. When I was 12, I decided to play for another local school that would help benefit my ball handling and accuracy. It was a different environment than what I was used to, so it challenged me to go out of my comfort zone and be able to react in a way that can help me react to how other teams play. When I was 14, I tried out for my high school team and made the team. I became a starter and tried my best to help my team in a beneficial way. When I was 15, I tried out again for my high school team. We had a new coach and I made the team. I became a captain and I was also a starter. It was different with a new coach but I was willing to take in what she was telling me and improve my soccer skills. I decided that I wanted to continue soccer after high school. I want to be able to play for a college that I can learn some new things and help benefit the team at a higher level.
