Alyssa Welko '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alyssa Welko I am a class of 2023 defensive or attacking midfielder. As a freshman I was a member of Bolingbrook High school’s varsity soccer team however our season was cancelled due to covid. My sophomore year I was a defensive midfielder and started every game. My goals for college are to grow as an athlete at a competitive level and to learn more about how to take care of myself and other athletes because I wish to study Athletic Training. I am a hard worker on the field and in the classroom, I am rank 4 of 821 in my class and have a 4.7 gpa. I also am a part of National Honors Society. I am committed to my studies and my athletic career. Some good qualities of myself are I have a good soccer IQ, I read and analyze play very well and I also have qualities of a leader because my teammates look up to me and ask me for advice.
