Haden Vlcek '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Haden Vlcek and I attend Glenwood High School (Class of 2024) in Chatham, IL.  I am a center back and play for SLSG ECNL program. 

The 2021-22 season is my fourth playing for the club.

We have qualified for the ECNL National Playoffs Champions League each year. 

2022 U16 National Champions. We went undefeated in the midwest Conference at 12-0-1 giving up just 2 goals. In the playoffs we went 7-0, giving up only two goals again, the big win being a 4-1 victory over Solar in the Semis.

In 2019 we finished 6th in the nation. I scored the game tying goal in stoppage time vs. So Cal Blues and added a PK goal vs World Class.

Was selected to the ECNL All Mid West Conference Team in 2021, my U15 Season.

US YNT Invitee in May of 2022.

All-State Illinois High School as a sophomore in 2022, only two sophomores made All- State.

I am open to any geographic region in the country, I have been fortunate to visit many states and I am excited for the opportunity to possibly attend school in what would be a totally new environment.  

I am a serious student and take my education seriously.  I currently have a 4.00 GPA unweighted and a 5.10 GPA weighted. I believe in being the best I can be on the field and off the field. Playing competitively at the highest collegiate level possible while obtaining my degree is very important to me. I have strong relationships to help me get there with my family,  friends, teammates, coaches, and teachers.
