Riley McRaven '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Riley McRaven and I am a 2020 defensive midfielder from Dunlap, Illinois. I attend Dunlap Highschool and play on the girls varsity soccer team. I also play club soccer at FC Peoria. My primary position is defensive midfielder, but I have had experience playing forward, attacking center midfielder, and outside midfielder.

I believe that one of my strengths is that I am easily coachable and I can adjust into any position on any team. I have spent time with a lot of different teams and have had the experience of playing in other positions. Over the past years, I have had the opportunity to travel to Spain and Italy to play in international tournaments. This past summer in Italy, the team I guest played on (Central Maine United) won the San Marino Cup. This is one of my most memorable soccer moments that I believe has helped me grow as a player!

Academics come first, so I hope to attend a school that offers a strong business program. I would like to then go on to Real Estate. I currently have a GPA of 3.870 and I have been involved in many honors courses and clubs.
