Throughout my life, I have learned that to get myself to the place I want to be, I need to push myself as far as I can. Doing certain things that were out of my comfort zone led me to success, and from that I have learned you have to put yourself in new, uncomfortable environments. Ironically, when my dad signed me up for soccer in 3rd grade, I wanted nothing to do with the sport. But as I continued to play, I enjoyed the sport more and more. Playing soccer has taught me to be disciplined and how to think on the go and ahead of time. It also taught me to grind through pain, because in the end, looking back at overcoming the obstacles will be satisfying.
My academic goals for high school are to stay on top of my school work, maintain a good gpa, and figure out my college major. My college goals are similar except that I want to figure out what I want to do in the future. I have had to quit sports that I loved playing to be able to play soccer at such a high level, but I would say it was totally worth it. I was born a leader and love to help others become successful. I also was gifted with the ability of being a great public speaker.
