Olivia Wolf '20 Recruiting Profile

Why consider me? I understand there is risk in looking for a college recruit, but here is why I believe I will be a perfect fit for the right program! 

I have already competed and excelled within an extremely large and competitive high school where I have demonstrated the ability to become a very successful student-athlete. I know what dedication and discipline it takes to manage the balance of doing both at a high level and will carry that experience into the next level.  

My high school has a student enrollment of over 4,200!   It’s already very much like a university experience.  It’s not uncommon to have 100+ athletes at a tryout.  I made my varsity soccer team as a sophomore and team captain as a junior.  

In addition, my club program FC1974 Elite is an MRL program and we train a minimum of 3 days/week with an extensive travel schedule all over the country.  I attend private speed and agility lessons 2x/week with a former pro-football player. 

I am active in many clubs and serve as president* of one. (Future Business Leaders of America, Students of Service*, Spanish, Ski Club, & SALT).  I have a part-time job and am also active in my community and Church.

Most importantly, and what I’m most proud of, is that I have done all of this while maintaining a 4.30 GPA through my first three years of high school.  I have completed 7 AP and/or honors courses and became inducted into the National Honor Societythis year.  I received the All-Academic award for my high school conference this past spring.

On the field, I’ve been selected to the Olympic development program for 2 yrs in the state of Illinois and started for the state team at the regional and national level.   

I have proven leadership experience,  having been selected the captain of my club team for five straight years . (selected by coach and teammates)

I received 1^st team All-Conference honors as a Junior, was selected 1^st team All-Area and was voted to our All-Sectional team, following a regional championship for my school this Spring.   

I believe the balance and evidence above demonstrates that I have what it takes to be successful at the next level and therefore am the type of individual that your university and soccer program can count on and will be proud of!
