Personal Statement

Hello! I’m Evelyn Rachel and attend Normal Community West High School (NCWHS) in Normal, IL. I will be graduating in 2024.  I would love to continue playing in college. I have played since I was 8 years old and have loved the journey soccer has taken me on.

I currently play for Val Walker at Normal Community West HS (NCWHS) in Normal, IL and club for Central Illinois United (CIU) '06/'05 GA. I had recently stitched clubs from Eclipse Select '06 in the Chicagoland area due to focusing on an internship my senior year. My primary position is goalkeeper.

I am different from other recruits because academically I always strive to do my personal best because schooling can take you far in life. It can teach you to work hard in classes as well as on the field. I feel I am a good leader on the field for my teams, and I help lift others up when they are down. I will give 100% each training and practice. I pride myself on being a passionate and determined player. I believe my passion for the game has really brought me to the level I am today.  I am also assertive in my play on the field by understanding positioning by defending our space and area. One of my strengths is resiliency and handling the high and lows with being a goalkeeper.

Thank you for visiting my profile.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
