Lauren Wedig '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal as a player is to be offered a scholarship from an accredited college and my goal as a student is to obtain a Nursing Degree and have great success in my academics. What makes me a good candidate for a college-level team is my ability to see potential plays and create them. I thrive in scoring, but I also love to assist my teammates and I'm very satisfied when my team is successful, not just me. I'm a very attack-minded player, but I don't think twice about getting back on defense and defending our goal. While juggling club soccer and taking all AP and honors classes, I have managed an average weighted GPA of a 4.0. I believe that my character and personality are tenacious, meaning although stress comes and goes, I've never once thought about quitting soccer and was still there helping my teammates achieve their goals as well.
