The inspiration to run at a collegiate level was a goal of mine since I was in 7th Grade. Running in college is a beneficial experience that I want to pursue.
I've participated in multiple sports activities at a young age. Football, basketball, and track were my main sports in middle school. I was undecided between which sport was my favorite since I enjoyed all of them and excelled in those sports. My other extracurricular activities involved being part of concert band and marching band.
As highschool approached my interests changed, but my motivation for physical activities and sports still inspired me. I joined my high school swim team my freshman year and continue to be in it alongside track and field, and marching band.
I trained my body year-round to stay in shape. Supporting my team and leading by example is an essential key part of being a team leader. I'm open to any advice to hone my skills and I'm willing to do extra practice to strive as a better athlete.
In the classroom, I focus on my education and maintain an average GPA. Outside of the school, I'm involved in church activities. I do all sorts of volunteer work and I used to be in the youth band for my church.
I want to attend a college where I can focus on my major and continue my passion to run on the track. I want to find a college that I can align with and at the same time, have the highest level of competition possible. I want to inspire other people to do the same.
