My education and sports have always been my top two priorities and what I've dedicated a majority of my time to. I have worked extremely hard in my school work, which has payed off through my straight A's in all AP/honor classes, my placement in the top 2% of my high school, and my multiple academic awards and achievements. While being a dedicated student, I've also always focused on improving my skills in softball and on working with my team as much as possible. Even with having a demanding school schedule and many outside activities, I've always made sure to make it to practices, gym sessions, and lessons while bringing my full effort. My collegiate goals are to succeed the same way academically as I am in high school and to prepare myself for my life after college as best as possible. I also aspire to have a successful softball career after high school and to dominate at a collegiate level. My time management skills make me feel sure that I can manage my busy schedule while still putting my full effort forward in both my academic and athletic activities at a college setting. Lastly, I feel my character separates me from other recruits because I not only support those around me, but also help them advance their own skills, whether that mean staying after a practice to catch their throws at first base, pitching to catchers during free time, discussing effective gym workouts, or even just giving advice on how to improve mentally in certain game situations.
