Nicole Ostro '12 Recruiting Profile

Hi My name is Nicole, and I am a Senior at Niles West High School. I played varsity as a freshman as a forward, midfield and defender. I also played for the wolves on varsity for my sophomore year. Starting at the stopper position, but I played any position the coach wanted me to play and enjoyed playing for the high school program. It is challenging playing with more experienced and talented players; raising the bar to meet these expectations is what is required from me to play in the high school program CLUB: I joined the club Team Evanston at the age of 14 in an effort to raise my game to the next level. I have been a starter on the "A" teams for 2 years, primarily in a midfielder role. The club has pushed me even harder to improve my technical skills and greatly improve my tactical awareness. Everyday at practice 100% effort is required from myself. Our team played in the "B" division and competed well at showcase tournaments. I am currently a part of the FC United Club Team. So far into the season, the experience has been wonderful. I have been learning new things and being challenged at a level I have never been challenged at before.
