Not solely am I an outstanding defensive player, I equally have the ability to play at the forward position. I constantly play with 100% effort and strive to get better and better each time I step onto the field. I have a strong leg and excellent ball handling skills that I am improving with training by my coach. I am a team leader and try to lead by example while also encouraging my teammates. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest executing players and one of the hardest working recruits you will find.
In the classroom, I study diligently and maintain a high GPA. I am also in numerous clubs and activities within my school. I represent my school's student council where I serve as the public relations. I am currently the secretary of the 2020 class council. I also volunteer at my church's homeless shelter and soup kitchen. In addition to these activities, I currently take part in the summer volunteering services at the local hospital.
For the past couple of years, I have been dealing with a number of mental illnesses (depression, bipolar, ADHD, PTSD, etc.) and because of this I have missed many days of school due to hospitalizations. Although I have missed numerous amounts of school, I have nevertheless managed to keep my gpa above 3.30. My battle through depression has taught me how to preserver and make the best out if what I have in order to achieve my personal goals.
I want to attend a college where I can not only push myself in the classroom and on the field, but socially as well. I would love attending a D-I/D-II school but I am open to all options when it comes to furthering my education. In the end I want what will be the best for me. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud.
