I have been playing soccer since I was in first grade. I love playing so much and am continuing to strive to improve each season. After we won our sectionals game last fall, my coach told me it would be a waste of my talents if I did not play in college. I really didn't think I was that good, but he gave me the confidence to pursue it. I am different from a lot of other players because I really strive to be a team player, I do not try to show off and make the big plays at the expense of my teammates. I feel like my passing game is really good and I have a really strong kick and good intuition for what the other team is going to do.
I am not certain what I want to study in college, but it will probably be STEM related. I am really good at chemistry and biology, so I am considering a career in medicine. I do a lot of volunteer work for an organization called MASIHA which provides free health care for poor people. I enjoy doing that; they do a lot of good for our community.
