Sami Webster '23 Recruiting Profile

Dear Prospective Coaches,

I have been playing soccer for as long as I can remember and it has become one of the most important aspects of my life. From a young age, I have had the desire to play soccer at a collegiate level. My natural determination and love for the game pushes me to embrace any challenge with a passion to succeed. At the beginning of each season, I make sure to set ambitious goals for myself and my team in order to have something set and measurable to work towards. My current & past teammates/coaches are the reason that I am where I am today – I believe that in order to be a great player, you have to be a great teammate. The teamwork that has been embodied in my teammates and coaches has given me a “Team First” mentality. Without them, I would not have learned this valuable lesson.

I have grown up in a family that has taught me to give 110% in every discipline of life, whether that’s school, training, or games. My work ethic and determination to succeed is what sets me apart from others. I recently was selected for the High Honor Roll as a result of my 4.06 GPA and overall character displayed. I also am involved in a weekly bible study where we take a look at our purpose and values. I believe that this group has helped me grow into understanding my identity through values as both a player and a person.
