Sydney King '23 Recruiting Profile

I am student athlete with a +4.0 GPA. I am a 6'0, fiercely competitive and athletic GK that loves to play aggressively on the pitch.  I am undefeated in my career in PK shootouts (both HS and Club), so when the game is on my shoulders, I don't break down. In the game I am quick and fearless with consistent hands and distribution, and I play with a high soccer IQ. I am a great communicator, highly coachable, very loyal, and an encouraging friend and teammate to my squad. 

My height and size allows me to reach above the crowd and push or grab the ball out of the air. It allows me to cover a lot of space and aggressively challenge breakaways as well as be physical when the box gets crowded.  I am a driven and hardworking player. Having watched my sister put in the work to become a scholarship student athlete for volleyball, I know what it takes to play at the next level, and I am willing to put in the hard work to make it happen.
