Hello coaches!
My name is Maggie Perry, and I am a junior at Veritas Christian Academy, located in Lexington, KY. I have a GPA of 4.0 and I am interested in studying marine biology, elementary education, or sports medicine.
I play for Bluegrass United during the high school season, and Commonwealth Soccer Club as well, during the spring. I am able to adapt to the position I am in and I have played several different positions, but I typically play defensive mid, center mid, and center back. My goal for this high school season is to get first place at the National Homeschool Soccer Championship, as my team placed second last year in D1.
Since I began playing soccer at the age of 10, I have continued to fall more and more in love with the sport. What sets me apart from others is my ability to lead others well, my determination to work hard, and to always push myself, as well as pushing/encouraging teammates. What I love most about soccer is the athleticism/competition, the relationships I have developed through playing, and the joy it brings every time I step onto the field.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read!
