Gabrielle Barnes '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches! My name is Gabrielle “Gabby” Barnes and I am a Junior at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington Kentucky. Growing up I played both soccer and basketball but ultimately decided that soccer was more of a passion than a sport to me and began to pursue it competitively. I am a left- foot dominated outside back but very versatile as to wear I play/what would benefit the squad more. My leadership, perseverance, and determination are my biggest strengths as a player. My determination also comes into play in the classroom as I am in the Biomedical Program at school which is the top Program offered here at Douglass while also being in 3 AP course. I plan to study either Business/Accounting or Health Sciences & Biology in college as either way would suit me as a student.
