Gabrielle Barnes '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coaches! My name is Gabrielle “Gabby” Barnes and I am a Junior at Frederick Douglass High School in Lexington Kentucky. Growing up I played both soccer and basketball but ultimately decided that soccer was more of a passion than a sport to me and began to pursue it competitively. I am a left- foot dominate outside back but very versatile as I'm able to play left or right side to benefit the squad more. My leadership, perseverance, and determination are my biggest strengths as a player. My determination also comes into play in the classroom as I am in the Biomedical Program at school which is the top Program offered at Douglass while also being in 3 AP course. I plan to study either Business/Accounting or Health Sciences & Biology in college as either way would suit me as a student.
