When I first started soccer on the varsity team my freshmen year, I knew I had to prove myself. However, I feel like I've always had to prove myself when it came to anything that I wanted in life which includes soccer and my academics. When it comes to the people who've inspired me, of course, the top people would include my parents who have sacrificed everything from the start.
The way I started soccer was a funny thing to point out in fact. Soccer was actually my punishment when I was little because of a little weight problem I had at the age of six. After playing I found out that I actually love the sport. I love how I could get in the zone and be aggressive and score goals and celebrate with my teammates. Throughout playing this sport for the past eleven years, I've learned a lot about myself. This includes my determination for the things that I want to succeed in when it comes to the goals that I want to obtain. When it comes to the academic goals that I seek to achieve is a degree in biology so that I can be on the track to medical school to become a pediatrician. As I go through college, I want to enjoy the most that I can which include playing soccer at a collegiate level. When it comes to my personality, I have two sides to me. On the field, I transform into a player that gets the job done and communicates well with my teammates with my head in the game, yet when I'm off I'm like this shy person who just wants to be outgoing. When it comes to my personality traits I am a hard worker because anything I want, I work until I excel at it. I am also driven, loyal, a bit shy yet friendly, and I am easy to get along with. I'm always willing to learn something new. The skills that I have consist of is flexibility to situations and I can adapt to new things. When it comes to my flaws though I tend to keep quiet which is a social issue that I have a problem with. I also get bored easily and a bit lazy if its not soccer season.
