I have been playing club soccer for 12 years and am currently playing for LA TDP in the Girls Academy. At my current attacking midfield position, I help control the tempo of the game and understand the field. My versatility and stamina also allow me to play striker and outside back. My speed and mental toughness make me a formidable opponent in any and all of these positions. Coaches and teammates have always referred to me as a leader, hard-working, energetic, and dedicated.
Playing soccer is not just a part of my life, it is who I am. I am at my best when I am competing. No matter the stakes, when I step onto the field I give it my all, and I expect my teammates to do the same. At times I may be viewed as intense, but this trait has made me the player and teammate I am today. My club teammates are family and when I play for my school I am most aware of the tradition and pride I represent.
Even off of the field, I still strive to perform at my best, especially in the classroom. I have also been a member of the varsity track and cross-country team since 7th grade, which helps me maintain the fitness aspect of soccer. I am someone who not only sets goals but also chases them. I still have many goals to reach in my high school years, but my biggest ambition is to play soccer collegiately.
