My experience in soccer varies greatly. I have played since I was very young and have been trained in all positions. I have been a soccer referee for a year now and I have also obtained my National "F" Coaches License with aspirations to move further up by obtaining my "E" License in the near future. I assisted Jared Montz during his training camps as a coach. My coaches have always found me very versatile as a player not only because of my skill and my ability to adjust and learn quickly but because of my knowledge of the game. I have made All-District my Freshman and Sophomore year with hopes of making it my Junior year. I was nominated as Jr. Captain by my coaches because of my natural leadership and positive attitude. Soccer has taught me valuable life lessons and has brought my family closer together throughout my soccer career. My father obtained his "E" License and became a coach because of his own love for the game. My families support and encouragement has greatly impacted who I am today as a player. We all share the same love for the game. Starting my Freshman year, I held a starting position on Varsity as a center midfielder and was awarded the "Energizer Bunny" award for consistently earning the most playing time. I was also nominated for All-District for midfield and received Honorable Mention. My Sophomore year, I held a starting position on Varsity as a center midfielder as well and was again nominated for All-District and received Honorable Mention. My Junior year, I held a starting position on Varsity as an outside midfielder and a Captain position. All-District for this year has not yet been announced. All three years I have been used in more than one position on the field. I have never actually stayed in one position because my coaches have all found that my strengths spread all over the field. I have been placed in defense against some of the top competitors in my area such as Loyola, Parkway and Byrd because of my ability to "stop the bleeding," as some would say. My Junior year I also competed at the District and State level for Cross Country as a Varsity runner. I currently obtain a 4.0 GPA and made a 23 on the ACT at the first try. I am a member of a service club at Captain Shreve High School named Z Club and will be running for an executive position for the following year. I attended Literary Rally my Sophomore year at Northwestern State University. I am also decently bilingual in Spanish. My collegiate goals as a player is to grow individually, to gain experience from tough competitors and more experienced teammates and to gain more knowledge from my coaching staff. As a student, I plan on becoming a Physical Therapist and/or Occupational Therapist. As a coach, I plan on gaining a coaching internship and getting hired on as a coach at either a high school or club.
