 Soccer isn’t just a game to me, but an overall view of myself. On the field I test not only my skills, but my motivation and self support within myself. Even if it’s 100 people in the stands or 1 those people don’t determine how motivated or unmotivated I become because it always starts within yourself. What I plant in my heart determines what I sow. Therefore my passion and mentality on and off the field determines my future beyond the game. I’m an uplifting person not only to the ones I know, but to the ones I don’t know. During a game I believe in showing sportsmanship because Titus 3:1-2 says “Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone”. I love bringing people together so that they can be happy and rejoice. I’m a peace maker and a child of God. I’m always positive in any situation because peace is more important than anything worldly. Yes soccer brings me peace so that’s why soccer isn’t just a game to me.
