Ever since the four-year-old program, I have been playing soccer. It wasn't always at the top of my list until I reached the end of my sophomore year. After the season ended, I joined a club team, fell deeper in love with the sport, and realized I wanted to take it to a higher level.
Since then, I have put in hard work and dedicated my free time to soccer. I trained almost every day and played games in tournaments while also balancing other sports. Even if I couldn't make it to the practices, I would find a way to practice from home. I made a commitment to practice as much daily as possible.
Being a multi-sport student athlete, about 95 percent of the time I am conditioning for some sport. Having been to the states twice for cross-country, I say I'm pretty flexible and learned how to balance my schedules between sports. I always like staying active, and even when I'm not in a season, I will be running and practicing on my own.
As a soccer player, I'm very adaptable to new things and jump right into everything. I have a high soccer IQ and see the whole field clearly. I'm very coachable and love working hard to accomplish goals and proving people wrong. I love to compete for the ball and press opponents to make mistakes.
Aside from sports, I work hard in the classroom and believe I have what it takes to fulfill the many responsibilities it takes to be a student-athlete in college.
