Of all the things that I do, soccer brings me the most joy. I always look forward to stepping foot on the field, because of the happiness, the challenges, and the fun that the game brings. My overall collegiate goals and aspirations include being a member and participant of a strong program and to be a competitive player no matter where I may end up. A measurable goal would be to improve my individual skills by playing at a higher level, and also to be able to adjust to playing with new people. I want to be challenged everyday by competing at the highest level possible and pushing myself to be the best that I can be on and off the field. I am a good candidate because of the dedication I can offer a team and the desire I have to improve during and out of the season. I love to be pushed in order to be better and to work hard, but also I love to motivate others. This is where my leadership comes through. I fill a leadership role in the game itself, but also in the classroom. As a group leader I am one to organize, and make sure others know their roles. This would be my strongest quality, usually tending to lead by example. In the classroom this quality is reflected through my work. I have a willingness to learn and strive for academic excellence. I value my education and take it very seriously, as I do with soccer and the opportunity that I have to play at the next level. Another strong quality I have is my ability to stay very focused. During matches, I am distraction free and 100% invested in executing as best I can. I believe this quality is essential to winning. Bringing that level of intensity and focus leads to success. I am extremely passionate about soccer, whether it's kicking around by myself, a small scrimmage, or a state championship game. Its always a blast for me to mess around on the pitch, and seems to be an outlet for me to express my true interests. Soccer is truly where I have found a family-like unit, the best experiences, and is what I would like to pursue after high school. It is the place where I would like to reach my full potential.
