My goal throughout my college career academically is to get my doctorate in psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology. Athletically my goal is to play division one, two, or three soccer. I additionally look to be able to grow, learn, and develop as a person on and off the field. A few of my core values as a person are, I am always looking to improve, learn more, and grow, I am a very hard worker, I have a very high soccer IQ, I am a leader, all of these values I apply on and off the field in every aspect of my life. Additionally, I am very coachable, I have true love, passion, and devotion to the game, and I am a very encouraging and helpful teammate. One thing that is truly a once in a lifetime experience is being able to find something that you can do where you are truly yourself, you are the most confident, the happiest, and clear headed, this thing for me is soccer. This fact contributes to my love, drive, devotion, and dedication to the game. Some of the most recent highlights of my soccer career are, my high school team won the state championship and is ranked number three in the nation, during February break I was in Italy with the ODP Northern New England select team training, playing games against and working with Italian players and coaches. I feel I am a strong leader on and off the field, the people around me including friends, family, coaches, and teachers have always said so as well, a couple examples of this are, I have been selected to be a captain of every club team I have been on, I have been chosen to go to multiple leadership summits at school, I also started and developed the reverse mainstream program which is where kids in standard classes work with, teach, become friends with, and help kids who are special needs. This started because since second grade I have always been great friends with a boy who has severe cerebral palsy and I have always worked with him and when I got to the middle school began helping in the FLS (functional life skills) room and have helped and become friends with a few of the students in this room and every room I have worked in since, I also hangout, babysit, help, and volunteer with not only the kids I am close with but any people with special needs, I am very passionate and love this work which is a contributing factor to me wanting to get into neuropsychology, this is also because I have always loved and been naturally very good at helping people with disabilities, as well as learning, studying, and observing peoples behaviors as well as parts of the brain.
