Maizie Savage '28 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches!
    My name is Maizie Savage and I currently play goalkeeper for Seacoast United Maine team in the DPL. Ever since I can remember I have been playing sports, I have been playing club soccer since 6th grade. Something that sets me apart from most, is that I am a triplet. Having two sisters my age has made me the competitive and driven person that I am. I will do anything to accomplish my goals. I just recently won the goalkeeper of the year award this season for my conference In high school.  I was also selected for the all-conference first team, I am very proud of these awards and I aim to keeping getting ones similar for years to come. 

I have been playing goalkeeper for about 5 years. I love the position so much because it requires me to be a leader. I love being able to see the whole field and visualize the plays that could happen and directing my teammates. My life revolves around soccer, and if you were to ask any people I am close to, they would tell you how passionate I am about the sport. 

I not only try to be my best on the soccer field, but also in the classroom. I enjoy school and strive to maintain my good grades. I have very high expectations for myself, and when I don’t meet them I work even harder to get to where I would like to be.
