I have been playing soccer since I was 4 or 5 years old, ever since then my love for the sport has increased. It was the best decision little me ever made. I have worked hard to get to where I am today. I remember after I broke my foot in 6th grade, I practiced so much my left foot has gotten so equal to my right. I forget which one is which sometimes. Leading up to sophomore tryouts I was still strengthening from knee instability so, I would practice on the field on spare time I had. I was so proud of myself when I made varsity sophomore year, because it showed how all the hard work I put in pt and practicing by myself payed off.
Soccer shapes you as a person, in every shape and way it's a team game. I have learned how to speak up and be more confident on the field. When I am in the game, I fear sometimes I will lose my voice from yelling "man on" or "time". I can't stand when the team's moral starts to collapse, so I put my best effort into making sure I am positive on and off the field. My determination came from soccer, no matter how hard I fall or get pushed back I know I will fight to get back, it's one of my favorite traits about myself. I hope to take that passion/determination and bring it to college. I want to go into forensic psychology or a major that will allow me to help others lives. I want to focus both on my personal interest and my education. I am going to take the passion I have on the field and apply to my education. I know the importance of my education and finding a major that will make me passionate to enter the job field.
