Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Ryan Nelson. I am a 2026 Soccer player from Acton-Boxborough Massachusetts. I play for FC Stars ECNL Regional Blue and I am a midfielder and forward. I have been playing soccer since I was 3 years old and it has been my favorite sport since day 1! In my free time, I enjoy, shopping, skiing, running, learning about nutrition, and spending time with friends and family! Outside of Soccer, I go to the gym two or three times a week at COMPETE Strength and Conditioning. My favorite things about soccer are working with and spending time with my teammates, learning new skills, and the feeling of improving 1% every time I play. Some of my strongest qualities include my soccer IQ, passing skills, shooting, speed, and mentality. I hope to continue soccer as a college athlete in the future!
