Hi! My name is Ashley and I’m planning on majoring in Biomedical Engineering. I’m currently a senior at Attleboro High School competing at the Varsity level.
I work at CVS Pharmacy part time (10-20 hours per week), and despite them not usually hiring minors, managed to get an interview and was hired on the spot.
I am excellent with time management, allotting time for my rigorous courses, homework, soccer, work, volunteering, and now the college admissions process.
I have maintained a 4.0 GPA unweighted, am in predominantly AP and honors courses, and my SAT score is a 1270 (630 Math and 640 English).
I have started Varsity since freshman year of my high school career, for a team that is in a D1 league (the Hockomock league).
I am an outside/center midfielder usually, but fairly versatile. I’ve played club soccer for seven years, and was team captain of the Boston Bolts SNE girls 2000 (U19) team. We advanced to the Massachusetts State Cup, and achieved a finalist title.
I would consider my strengths to be my coach-ability, as well as my vision for the next right move on the field. As a midfielder, I usually know where I am passing the ball before I even receive it, which heightens the tempo of the game. I am also conditioned to play a full game in a midfield position.
I have attended Camp Manitou for six years, a soccer camp up in Oakland, Maine. It is a week long camp where we play soccer approximately 6 hours a day, and receive two 2 hour coaching sessions every day from various coaches.
I have been playing soccer for nearly thirteen years now, and would love to continue my athletic as well academic endeavors in college!
