Hannah Babo '27 Recruiting Profile

As early as the age of three, soccer has been an essential part of my life, igniting a passion and dedication within me that continues to grow. My journey in club soccer began at the young age of 5, evolving into a more competitive journey by the time I was 9. Since 2020, I have proudly represented the New England Surf State Navy G2008 team, and together we have achieved remarkable milestones.  As 2-time back-to-back MA State Cup Champions. A USYS National League P.R.O. League Champions. 2021 Semi-finalist in US Youth Soccer National Championship and in 2022 Finalist in US Youth National Championship. 2023 Jefferson Cup Champions in the Elite Orange Bracket. We have also claimed the prestigious 2023 DPL Nationals Champions title for the U15 group.

My role as a center midfield has allowed me to leverage my instinctive ability to read the field and strategic playmaking. I excel in winning 1v1 battles and possess precision in heading corner kicks to secure crucial goals. Additionally, my technical ability is evident in my accurate passing and seamless transitions to switch the field, making me an asset to the team.

Looking ahead, my goal is to continue my soccer journey at the collegiate level, where I can contribute to a competitive soccer program while showing loyalty to my school. As a current high school student-athlete at The Governor’s Academy set to graduate in 2027, I have already established myself as a starting Varsity soccer player, symbolizing my steady commitment to both the sport and my academic pursuits.

Soccer has been my compass, guiding me through challenges and victories, and shaping me into a hardworking and focused individual. It is my dream to turn this lifelong passion into reality and play collegiate soccer while carrying forward the values of teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship.

I am eager to continue the next chapter of my soccer journey, where I can continue to grow as a player and person, making a meaningful impact in the classroom and on the field.
