I have loved soccer and school ever since I was young. As a player, I have strived to continue to develop my skill set and be a positive leader to my team on and off the field. I believe my strengths on the field include my positive attitude, field vision, soccer IQ, skillfulness, and versatility. Although the midfield feels like home, I am happy to play whatever position my team needs me to, playing attacking mid, defensive mid, and defense as needed. I share my love and knowledge of the game with younger players as a volunteer coach during vacation clinics and a volunteer for my local TOPS program for young children with disabilities.
I have put the same love and dedication into my studies. I love being part of my school community and leading campus clubs including the Feminist Coalition and Body Positive. Next year, I hope to develop a Neurodiversity Club focused on educating and celebrating neurological differences while raising funds for organizations supporting individuals with neurodiverse needs. Academically, I strive to challenge myself by maintaining highest academic distinction while enrolled in AP and Honors courses. I am undecided on what my major will be in college. I enjoy biology, environmental science, neuroscience, law, and political science. I look forward to further exploring these areas in college.
