I come from a very small town, which makes it especially difficult to get noticed by college recruiters. That kind of atmosphere makes you work harder, and push yourself to get to places where you will have that exposure. I started playing soccer when I was 5 years old and haven't looked back since. I love the competition and excel under pressure. I play center-mid for the school varsity team, but whenever we need a goal I'm always the player my coach slides up to forward. One of my biggest strengths is definitely accuracy. I scored the winning goal last year during PK's which brought my U18 town team to the MTOC. I even played goalie during one of the MTOC games, though my skills are definitely centered around field play. I can play anywhere on the field, but my best and favorite position is center-midfield. I play Center-mid for my FC Stars club team and make it my goal to be a leader and role model for my other teammates to look up to. As for my academics, I'm proud to say I take all honors courses and have a 4.7 (weighted) GPA. I'm dedicated to my school and spend what little free time I have left to be NJHS president and vice president of student council. No matter what school I end up playing for, you would have my full focus & energy to be the best the player AND student I could possibly be.
