Over the past years soccer has been a big part of my life. I have played it since I can remember. Being on many teams with different levels of talents and different styles of playing has taught me so much about the game. I've learned how to adjust quickly, be open minded, be a diverse player and to work on my own to make an impact on every team. One main experience that has taught me a lot is my high school team. Compared to girls on my team, I am much more passionate about the game. Being the only player who plays on a club team, has played my whole life, and has a true passion for the game has really taught me how to be a leader and to push myself to be a good example. The past years my high school team has had losing records. I knew I wanted to make a change to build the program up because it’s not fun to be on a losing team. I have been a starter since my eighth grade year which was one of my goals. Another goal of mine was to be named captain my sophomore year, which proudly I was. I took being a captain as a way to step up, build the program, help girls get better and be a good role model. I have worked hard to help my teammates out and hopefully it will show throughout the next couple years. It has helped myself grow skill wise, and also has taught me how to be a leader whom my teammates look up to. I love helping my teammates out and stepping up to show them what it takes to be successful.
I have always dreamt of playing at the collegiate level, graduating with a degree and being successful. I 100% believe that I have a hard working ethic, friendly personality, great leadership skills, the coachability and determination that coaches, teachers, friends and teammates admire and look for. I want to have fun but also be on a successful team which I know I can contribute to.
