Emily Marks '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Emily Marks and I'm searching for a school that will be the perfect fit for my athletic dreams and academic goals! I began my soccer career at seven years old in my town's youth soccer league and grew up a goalkeeper through middle school and into multiple state tournaments. However as I entered my early teens, I quickly fell in love with the fast paced and challenging environment field positions had to offer which inspired me to work my way up to become extremely versatile between offensive and defensive positions on the field using my knowledge from my years as a keeper to strengthen my performance and understanding of the game. After working with a personal coach during the pandemic, the Town Select League and District Select Program with Massachusetts Youth Soccer, I am proud to have earned my spot in club on the FC Stars Bedford Blue 05/06 team and am still working hard to continue my future in college today! I am a very motivated player that is driven by unlimited personal growth in my skill and the love of the game. My dream school not only values balance in my athletic passion and academic goals, but also offers an atmosphere where I can continue my path to a successful future ahead of me.
