I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and from the second I stepped on the field for the first time, I fell in love with the game. Soccer is such an important part of my life and it has always been a dream of mine to continue playing soccer in college. After being on 3 different club teams, playing town until I was 13, playing high school, and being a part of Summer leagues, I have learned how to work well on the field with many different people, even some who I have never played with before. My freshman year of high school I was on the Junior Varsity team, but for some practices and games I played with the Varsity team. I was voted the "Player's Player award" which is based on season performance and teamwork. As a sophomore, I played on the Varsity team, where I was a starter and was awarded "Rookie of the Year 2017" along with a Varsity Letter. I am honored to have been given these awards and to have had these opportunities my first two years of high school. My goals include to continue growing as a player, to improve playing at a faster pace, and to challenge myself more, whether its challenging players one on one or playing against competitive and high level teams.
Both soccer and academics are extremely important to me. One way I like to challenge and push myself in school is by taking harder courses. My academic goals include maintaining A's and B's, to continue taking AP and honors/accelerated courses, and to get into a college that meets my preferences. I participate in 3 different clubs: The Patriots of Action, First Responders, and The Giving Tree. I am also a part of National Honors Society, where I am involved in helping around the community. I have volunteered at Senior Centers, assisted in fundraisers, and participated in various organizations to raise money for their programs. I am interested in majoring in Health Sciences or Physical Therapy to pursue my dream of becoming a Physical Therapist. I'm looking forward to the upcoming years and I am excited to see what the future will bring!
