During the last four years I was fortunate to have been chosen to play soccer at regional and national levels of competition higher than in any preceding years. I learned about myself that I thrive under the pressure of an intense game and work best alongside teammates who do the same. I have also learned that I play best for coaches who hold myself and my team to high standards. Inspired by the desire to stay eligible for this level of competition, I have tried to make regular investments in my nutrition and fitness and now call these part of my healthy lifestyle. Now having been exposed to these high levels of play, I am hopeful to do the same in college. I know that I have not yet peaked and would be most interested in playing collegiate soccer for coaches who will challenge my potential and surrounded by hard-working teammates. Although I do not enjoy talking about myself, I would offer that coaches seem to find me a loyal, dependable performer and have often selected me for team captain roles during the last five years. On the field, I try to play with composure and intensity, and off the field I try to squeeze as much out of life as possible academically, socially. I have had many opportunities so far, and look forward to many more.
