I have been playing softball since the age of seven and have been part of a club team since I was ten. I have always been a top performer on the many teams I have played on. Softball has allowed me to develop many helpful qualities such as teamwork, leadership, confidence, hard work, and how to handle adversity. Through softball, I have learned how to be a supportive teammate who brings a positive attitude to the field. I have met many of my lifelong friends through the sport and have been mentored by incredible coaches who have left a lasting impression on my life.
Even though I am thoroughly passionate about playing softball in college, academics are most important to me. I am trying to get into the best academic college with the most competitive softball program possible. I am a top performing student in the classroom and am taking the most challenging classes offered at my high school. I am involved in multiple clubs, one in particular focusing on community service. Community service is a beloved activity of mine because I feel good helping others in need. I enjoy writing in my free time and love to read.
I would be an asset as a student and an athlete to a college that fits me best. I am continuously working toward my dream of playing softball at the collegiate level.
